Curriculum

The Basics of Yoga

  1. Definition of Yoga, Types of Yoga
  2. History of Yoga and Patanjali
  3. Teaching Methodology: you will start teaching from day 1
  4. Theory Meditation, Pranayama, Asanas, Mantra

Yoga and the Body

  1. Hatha Yoga, Shatkarma
  2. Yogic body -Chakras/Nadi
  3. Anatomy/Physiology
  4. Teaching Methodology

Philosophy and Core Principles

  1. Prana Vayu, Koshas and Core principles
  2. Asana clinics (in depth dissection)
  3. Students Teaching AM/PM
  4. Mid Term, Recaps

Creating your class, assessments

  1. Building your sequence and your style
  2. Personal evaluations, presentations, assessments
  3. Teaching Methodology Recap
  4. Graduation Ceremony

(Apart from the Yoga curriculum you will be going through the non-violent communication, learning behavior patterns, soul profile and personal reflections sessions)

In total: 80 h of practice, 50 h of teaching, 70 h of lecture and assessments 200 h in total.

Graduates are eligible to become Registered Yoga Teachers with Yoga Alliance.
